Thank you for looking after a 90 year old man so well. It is great that his eating was monitored. It was on falcon ward. Merry Christmas.

Very prompt, to inform patient that it is likely to be a painful experience. I though that sedation would be a bit more relaxed.

Review of NICU - St Peter's
18th December 2019

From the moment our boys arrived they have received impeccable care from the St Peters NICU team. The nurses have been so dedicated in their care of the boys ( & in looking after us) and the doctors and consultants have been wonderful, so generous in their time to explain all that is going on, allowing us as parents to understand, keeping us informed and allowing us to be a part of their care. We loved that ward round was so informative and involved for the parents, allowing us direct contact with the drs & consultants and an opportunity to ask questions and understand medical matters and even participate in the boys care journey. Also that here at St Peters as parents you are given the opportunity to be so involved in their care, from early cuddles in those important early days, to nappy changing and feeding, allowing you to become confident in handling your baby and also really feel like a parent. Virginia & Jo have also been wonderful and a very important supportive presence that has eased the process of adjusting to being a premie mum & been their during those low days. Finally thank you for creating such a wonderful place for parents, the opportunity to stay overnight meters from your child during those early days is priceless & the parents room with the layout of the shared table allows us to socialise with other mums & dads, share experiences, support each other with those who really know what you are going through which is such a huge help. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. You are all such an incredible team.

Review of NICU - St Peter's
17th December 2019

The team here at St Peters NICU have been absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The care that my son and I, even though I am not the patient, Have received in the weeks that we have been here has been truly, truly exceptional. Nothing has ever been too much or too difficult, every member of the team, at all levels have been kind, caring and Passionately professional. One of the key reasons that the team is so successful, I believe, is because of their ability to work cohesively together, using communication and mutual respect for each other as tools to help achieve and maintain this amazing working environment. There will never be enough thank you’s in the world for all that you have done for my little family. I will be eternally grateful to you all. Amy & Noah
